Available Positions:


We are recruiting for a full or part time ambulatory veterinary surgeon to join our team at our 100% equine practice covering Kent and East Sussex.

We have a varied caseload with a competition and pleasure horse clientele. Our position would suit a candidate with some experience in a similar role although we are happy to consider more recent graduates as well. Milbourn Equine are a well-established, RCVS accredited equine vets.

We are mainly ambulatory with clinic facilities and offer a wide variety of services ranging from lameness investigations to gastroscopy and vettings. We offer a friendly, well equipped practice with a 5 vet team and excellent clinic facilities and support.

  • DR X-ray machine – clinic based and portable
  • Digital Video Endoscopy
  • Gastroscopy
  • Digital Ultrasound including abdominal
  • Portable shockwave therapy
  • Power dentistry etc.
  • Operating suite

We do provide our own OOH service and this is on a fully shared rota basis of 1 in 5 with time off in lieu the following week to help provide a work-life balance. We also offer a remuneration package for OOH work performed.

We fully support and fund CPD with a generous allowance as well as actively encouraging further development of your skills. Salary commensurate with experience. Pension and professional fees provided.

Kent has great transport links to both London and Paris as well as beautiful countryside and coastal access. A relocation package can be discussed if required. Start date would be as soon as convenient. All we ask for are good communication & client skills, a team ethic & dedication to provide clinical excellence.
