Equine Insurance Consultant Howard Newitt (BVetMed, CertEP, MRCVS Advanced Practitioner in Equine Practice) holds a post graduate certificate in equine practice and is a Clinical Director of Milbourn Equine. He qualified in 1995 and since 1997, Howard has provided expertise on numerous equine insurance cases, working in partnership with Nick Mills MRCVS.
Howard’s day to day horse work includes a challenging mix of cases and clients. His clients vary from racing yards, studs, multiple international riders, and of course last but not least the happy hacker.
Howard has a keen interest in current equine veterinary developments. Annually he attends a variety of conferences. This is important as insurance work requires someone who is thoroughly up to date with developments in the equine veterinary world.
As you would expect Howard has an excellent general knowledge of treatments for a wide range of conditions. This is essential in making the correct recommendations for you.
